Art Institute of
Chicago
The Art Institute is a must see when visiting Chicago. It
is located at 111 South Michigan Avenue. Its collections
represent nearly 5000 years of human creativity: Paintings,
sculptures, textiles, photographs, cultural objets, ...It
has one of the most remarkable collection of Impressionist
and Post-Impressionist art including masterpieces of
Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri Matisse, Paul
Cezanne, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Other famous works to
be seen: Grant Wood's American Gothic and Edward Hopper's
Nighthawks.

Opening hours & tickets price - entrance fees
Opening hours: Monday–Wednesday, 10:30am-5:00pm - Thursday,
10:30am-8:00pm (Free Admission 5:00pm-8:00pm) - Friday, 10:30am-5:00pm
- Saturday–Sunday, 10:00am-5:00pm. Museum is closed for Thanksgiving,
Christmas, and New Year's days.
Admission fees - Tickets: Adults: $18.00 - Students and Seniors:
$12.00 - Children under 14: Free Members are always free. Prices are
given as indication only and subject to change.
